Cigar Journal, the international cigar magazine, gave the Throckmorton Ember a four-page feature in issue 3/2026 — "Artistry & Utility from Alaska" by Mỹ Huệ McGowran (Cigar Accessories, pp. 118–121, published in English and Spanish).

The piece profiles Jeremiah Throckmorton — glassblower and cigar enthusiast, founder of Cosmic Glass Inc. in Wasilla, Alaska (est. 1999) — and the Ember, his handcrafted glass-blown holder that lets cigar smokers enjoy a cigar "right down to the last inch." It covers the Ember's first limited US release, the craft behind each handmade piece, and Alaska's strong cigar culture.

"It reduces waste, keeps your fingers away from the heat, and enhances the overall smoking experience by allowing you to enjoy your cigar right down to the final draw." — Jeremiah Throckmorton, in Cigar Journal
